The Commissioner’s Picnic will be an outdoor event on the grounds of the Commissioner’s Residence and Fort Herchmer.  Come join the Commissioner for some refreshments, outdoor games, and conversation and help celebrate the 125^th Anniversary of the discovery of gold in the place where it all began.

The Commissioner’s Picnic will take place on Discovery Days weekend on August 14^th, 2021 from 1-430. It is a free family-friendly event. Period dress is optional.

There will be outdoor games of bocce and croquet, a story reading from the Yukon Story Laureate, and picnic food boxes.

The event is free and open to all ages.
