Their Discovery of gold led to one of the world's greatest gold rush stampedes\, where nearly 100\,000 people migrated north in an attempt to strike it rich during the Klondike Gold Rush. \n\nToday\, Yukon celebrates our grand history with a weekend festival in Dawson City\, known as Discovery Days. The weekend is made up of events such as a parade\, a fastball tournament\, a golf tournament\, a horticultural exhibition\, as well as live music and art! \nThere are barely enough hours in the day to do and see everything! \n\n\n \n\n\nView 2026 Schedule (for reference only)
