Their Discovery of gold led to one of the world's greatest gold rush stampedes\, where nearly 100\,000 people migrated north in an attempt to strike it rich during the Klondike Gold Rush. \n\nToday\, Yukon celebrates our grand history with a weekend festival in Dawson City\, known as Discovery Days.
