The opera is not only a dramatization of Service's incredible account of life in the north but also investigates other moments of fraternity and industry in Canada's northwest. \nA small cast of four men will play multiple roles\, as they regale tales of northern living\, as one might share over a campfire. The retelling of these tales takes place through narrative strands that explore many unique character types and experiences\, set in familiar scenes from contemporary northern living and intermixed with scenes inspired directly by Robert Serice's poem\, The Cremation of Sam Mcgee. \nPerformances by: Peter Monaghan (bass-baritone)\, Micah Schroeder (baritone)\, Elias Theocharidis (tenor) and Sean Haid (countertenor). \nJoin of for an incredible evening of Northern Storytelling\, sure to warm your heart in the cold of winter. \nDoors open: 7:30\nShowtime: 8:00 \nCabaret seating & cash bar. \nFor more information visit KIAC.ca
