Each member of the ensemble has given their reverence to explore their personal musical heritage and identity as a Canadian Settler and citizen\, embarking on new projects and sounds to bring light to the creativity\, experiences\, and talents of Canadian women in Jazz. \nIn a genre and industry where women have been severely underrepresented\, the Ostara Project is a beautiful example of perseverance\, community\, and a deep love for music.
