Creators are given key(s) at the start of the challenge that they must include in their film in a creative way\, whether it be physically\, verbally\, etc. The challenge encourages creators to push themselves to conceive a unique film\, starting from the script\, directing and filming completely through to the final editing - all within the allotted timeframe. To find out more about the challenge on October 2023 visit DawsonFilmFest.com \n  \nCome to the KIAC Ballroom to watch the screenings of the 48-Hour Film Contest!  These fun\, quirky\, northern films will leave you laughing\, crying and wanting more.  Don't forget to vote for your favourites! \n  \nAdmission by donation.
