Bookings: Book your tour at the Little Birch Cabin
Front Street, Dawson City

On our two-hour trip down the Yukon River, you’ll learn about the region and the traditional lifestyle of the Hän people.

Float past the picturesque Moosehide Village while enjoying the rays of the midnight sun.  But keep your camera ready because you never know when moose, bear, or eagles might make an appearance!

Your first stop will be at the historic Fort Reliance, where you will have the opportunity to see a traditional cabin and discover the beauty of the area.  Further down river, keep an eye out for ‘fishwheels’ as our guide teaches you about the living history of the salmon harvest.

Next you’ll visit Dog Island, where you will have a chance to stretch your legs and appreciate the surrounding wilderness.  Savour tea made from local ingredients and be treated to some delicious homemade bannock, all while exploring a genuine family fish camp.

Owned and operated by two of Dawson’s most beloved colourful characters, this is a trip not to missed!

Visiting in fall or winter?  Fishwheel Charter Services also offers guided quad and snowmobile tours!
