Have you ever been inside a camera before? Now’s your chance! Step into this cozy camera obscura on Front Street and marvel at the magical projections that appear on the dark wall before you. Free to enter, this is a perfect pitstop for both art and science lovers!

Dänojà Zho Cultural Centre Gift Shop

The Dänojà Zho Cultural Centre is open year-round offering exhibits, performances, and activities throughout the summer season that celebrate the region’s indigenous heritage. When visiting, stop by the gift shop to admire and shop for traditional and contemporary crafts made by Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in artisans.

Dawson City Summer Concert Series

The Dawson City Summer Concert Series is a free lunch-time music series that takes place on Fridays from 12pm – 1pm at the Front Street Gazebo.  Bring your picnic blanket and enjoy amazing music all summer long in Dawson City!

Diamond Tooth Gerties

Looking for some lively entertainment? Diamond Tooth Gerties, Canada’s oldest casino, stages three unique performances nightly from May to September. From cancan standards to mid-century classics to modern hits, these singers, dancers, and instrumentalists are leaving it all on the stage!

ODD Gallery

Located within the Klondike Institute of Art & Culture, the ODD Gallery is a contemporary exhibition space displaying artwork from regional, national, and international visual artists.

Authors on Eighth

Nestled on Eighth Avenue are two humble cabins of historical literary significance. You can pay homage to the writer of Call of the Wild and White Fang at the Jack London Museum or to the man who penned The Spell of the Yukon and The Cremation of Sam McGee at the Robert Service Cabin.

Peabody's Photo Parlour & PBG Gallery

Make your own work of art at Peabody’s Photo Parlour! Visitors have the chance to dress up in gold-rush-era costume at this portrait studio and pose for a sepia-toned portrait. If you’re feeling camera shy, you can swing by to see and shop for locally-made art in the front room’s PBG Gallery.

Palace Grand Theatre

Embark on a Parks Canada guided tour to explore the biggest-little theatre in the north!  Established in 1899 and rebuilt in 1962, the Palace Grand Theatre has a rich history and is still used as a performance space today.
