Parks Canada: Palace Grand Theatre Guided Tour
The Palace Grand Theatre is a fully restored, gold rush era theatre maintained by Parks Canada as a part of the Klondike National Historic Site. Originally built by Arizona Charlie, the theatre boasts a beautiful lobby with a bar, a large dance floor and two levels of private box seating. The third floor contains the actor’s apartments, including Kate’s Room, lavishly furnished as it would have been when this Klondike starlet was at the height of her popularity.
See the Palace Grande Theatre with a knowledgeable Parks interpreter and learn all about what entertainment was like during the Gold Rush. You’ll also learn about how the theatre is still used today. Don’t miss this gem!
