Thumbs Up Good Work Theatre is proud to present Lumber by Métis playwright Colin Wolf. From the creator of Indigenous Voices Award-winning CoyWolf, Colin draws inspiration from his lived experience starting a firewood-harvesting business in Haines Junction, YT.
Lumber is a one-hour romp through the Yukon wilderness with Jack Bennet (Colin Wolf) as your guide. Jack Bennet has lost his job, his girlfriend, his home, and worst of all, his dog just died. He is ready to flee north, really far north, to the Yukon and start over. Directed by Nathan Howe, the play features storytelling, comedy, and a chainsaw—or two!
